2004-04-11 [Kiddalee]: Erm... just because he mentioned "male prostitutes" instead of just saying "prostitutes", it doesn't mean that female prostitution is alright. It sounds to me like you're twisting the context of the verse to fit your own arguements. Also, the Bible gives verses against wife and child abuse. When it says that the husband is to have authority over the household, it doesn't mean that he is supreme dictator over his wife, it means that he is to be respected for taking all the responsibility for the spiritual climate of the family. Sexist societies throughout history had taken these verses out of proportion or out of context.

2004-04-19 [mywolfalways]: Practicing to paint/draw the nude art form is a very good thing. The reason is that things are much easier to draw outside after the inner structure is studied. It's easier to draw clothing after studying the nude figure. It can be equavalent to learning the muscle structure of a horse in order to learn to draw it properly.

2004-04-19 [mywolfalways]: A lot of people aren't comfortable drawing the nude human form and there isn't anything wrong with that. The thing to keep in mind is that there is a line between nude art and porn. A lot of people don't understand the difference, or don't choose to, and instead decide that anything resembling the nude form is "bad".
